The short answer
Register books of issued and received invoices are the period book: who, when, base and VAT, ready for the close and for the advisory firm. They are not the tray where you upload the PDF.
Anyone searching for “invoice register book” usually mixes two things: the issued-and-received inbox and the book the close needs. The first lives in Invoicing. The second is Fiscal and is filtered by period.
Vacly Fiscal is €12.90/month VAT incl. 15-day trial. The books start from what is already digitised. They fit with [taxes](/producto/fiscal/impuestos) and [settlements](/producto/fiscal/liquidaciones) in the [Fiscal module](/producto/fiscal). They do not file with the AEAT.
What is a register book of issued and received invoices?
It is the period list the close uses: issued on one side, received on the other. It is not a pile of unfiltered PDFs.
- Issued book: what you billed in the period, with date, counterparty, base and VAT.
- Received book: what was billed to you in the period, with the same rule.
- For the SME: a book you can show. For the advisory firm: the same format across the book of clients.
- VAT in the book has to be able to match the [period summary](/producto/fiscal/impuestos) and the [settlement](/producto/fiscal/liquidaciones).
- It is not a filing with the AEAT and it is not SII. It is the working book for the period.
How is this different from the Invoicing inbox?
The inbox stores documents. The book groups the period. If you mix them, the quarter is read twice and neither close finishes.
- The [issued and received inbox](/producto/facturacion/facturas-unificado) is Invoicing: you upload a PDF, image or XML, the AI reads tax ID, bases and VAT, catches duplicates and exports to Sage, CSV or Excel.
- The article for that inbox is [issued and received invoicing software](/blog/software-facturas-emitidas-recibidas). This is not that article.
- Register books live in Fiscal. They filter by period and come out as a book, not as an inbox.
- A document enters Invoicing once. The book lists it when the period applies. Do not upload the PDF again here.
- Company expenses are digitised in Invoicing. Employee tickets live in Time. The book is not the scanner.
How is the book filtered by period?
A book with no period is an endless extract. The close asks for the quarter or the month, not “every invoice ever”.
- Period filter: the quarter or month you are closing. The document dates rule.
- Issued and received are listed separately. Putting them in one table is the shortcut that throws the 303 off.
- If an invoice arrives late, the previous period’s book is not rewritten in silence. You see it and you decide.
- The advisory firm switches company and keeps the same filter. The SME sees only its own.
- The [tax calendar](/producto/fiscal/calendario-fiscal) says when the period closes. The book shows what is inside.
What can you export the book to, and for whom?
The close and the advisory firm want a file, not a screenshot. Exporting the book is not filing a form.
- Export for the advisory firm, the file or whoever reviews the period. The useful format is the one the closer actually uses.
- We do not claim an SII submission or an official AEAT-site file here. The product exports the working book.
- [AEAT forms](/producto/fiscal/modelos-aeat) are prepared from the period, not from a loose PDF.
- Vacly does not file the books with the AEAT. Keeping the book and being able to show it is yours and your adviser’s.
- Accounting and Banks do not fill this book automatically. It fits invoices already digitised, not an invented statement.
How do the books fit the rest of Fiscal?
The book feeds the close. It does not replace the summary, the settlement or the form.
- [Taxes](/producto/fiscal/impuestos): the output and input view. The book is the detail behind it.
- [Settlements](/producto/fiscal/liquidaciones): they calculate period VAT and IRPF. If the book does not add up, neither does the settlement.
- [AEAT forms](/producto/fiscal/modelos-aeat): they prepare and track the 303 and the rest. The book is not the 303.
- Anyone on SII keeps the books through the AEAT site. This page is not sold as a substitute for that supply.
- Price of the [Fiscal module](/producto/fiscal): €12.90/month VAT incl. 15-day trial.
How Vacly Fiscal handles this
[Vacly register books](/producto/fiscal/libros-registro) list issued and received invoices from what is already digitised, with a period filter and an export for the close and the advisory firm. They are not the [Invoicing inbox](/producto/facturacion/facturas-unificado). They are part of the [Fiscal module](/producto/fiscal), together with [taxes](/producto/fiscal/impuestos), [AEAT forms](/producto/fiscal/modelos-aeat), the [calendar](/producto/fiscal/calendario-fiscal) and [settlements](/producto/fiscal/liquidaciones). €12.90/month VAT incl. 15-day trial.
