The short answer
The chart of accounts in Vacly Accounting is configured per company or per client in the portfolio. There are templates and a multi-company view. It is the base for journal entries and for export. It does not replace the advisor and it does not homologate the software.
Anyone searching for “chart of accounts per company or firm” usually copies accounts from one spreadsheet to another and finds at close that client B uses a different 629. The work is a chart per file, not one list that lies.
Accounting pricing is on request, according to the modules you contract. 15-day trial. The invoice stays in Invoicing. The journal entry is proposed in [pre-accounting](/blog/precontabilidad-asientos-desde-facturas) and reviewed in [journal entries](/blog/asientos-contables-revision-validacion).
What is a chart per company or per client (and why is it not a single one)?
It is that file’s account catalogue. The firm does not run one chart for the whole portfolio.
- Per company or per client: each file has its [chart](/producto/contabilidad/plan-contable). You do not mix client A’s 430 with client B’s.
- Templates: you start from a base so you do not build the chart by hand on every new file. Then you adjust it.
- Multi-company portfolio: the firm sees charts per client, not a loose spreadsheet per folder.
- Base for journals: the [proposal](/producto/contabilidad/precontabilidad) and the [review](/producto/contabilidad/asientos) hang from those accounts.
- Base for [export](/producto/contabilidad/exportacion-contable). Without a chart, the file has no accounts to extract.
Who is the SME chart for, and who is the firm chart for?
Same screen, two readings. The SME sees its company. The firm sees the portfolio.
- The SME configures its company chart and uses it when reviewing journal entries. It is not a deposited “official” chart.
- The firm keeps a chart per client. Templates speed onboarding; they do not copy the advisor’s judgement.
- P&L and the balance sheet read that chart’s accounts, from validated journal entries only. They remain indicative.
- The invoice inbox is in [Invoicing](/producto/facturacion). The chart does not digitize the PDF.
- It does not replace the advisor. Vacly does not homologate and does not file with the AEAT.
What do templates and the portfolio add?
The template saves typing. The portfolio stops the wrong chart on the wrong client.
Templates
A starting point by company type. Then you adjust accounts. It is not a chart locked by Vacly.
Multi-company portfolio
Each client has their own. Changing file changes chart. That is firm work.
A base, not a seal
The chart feeds journal entries and export. It does not certify the close and it does not replace the advisor.
What is this screen not (and what should it not sell you)?
The chart is not the journal, the VAT or the output file.
- It is not the [journal-entry](/blog/asientos-contables-revision-validacion) queue. The chart supplies accounts; the queue uses them.
- It is not the [P&L](/blog/cuenta-perdidas-ganancias-periodo) or the [balance sheet](/blog/balance-situacion-fecha). Those read validated journal entries.
- It is not the [close](/blog/cierre-contable-periodo-bloqueo). Locking the period does not change the chart.
- It is not a push to a3, Holded or Sage. [Export](/blog/exportar-asientos-programa-contable) is a file.
- It is not Tax or Banking. VAT and reconciliation live in other modules.
FAQ
Is there one chart for the whole firm?
No. The chart is per company or per client in the portfolio. There are templates and a multi-company view.
Does the chart post on its own?
No. It is the account base. The journal entry is proposed, reviewed and validated.
Does this replace the advisor?
No. Configuring accounts does not sign the close. Vacly does not homologate.
How does it help export?
The journal-entry file uses those accounts. Without a chart, there is no base to export.
Does Vacly file the chart with the AEAT?
No. It is a working configuration. It does not file and does not homologate.
What does it cost and how do we try it?
Pricing is on request, according to the modules you contract. The trial is 15 days.
